ARTICLES FROM THE EXPERTS
Allied World is committed to delivering a comprehensive risk management program for APA and AACAP members. Psychiatrist insureds receive monthly emails with articles on timely topics that could impact a practice, existing organizational structures, systems and staff. All articles include best practices and risk mitigation strategies on how to best address the challenges outlined.
In Session Newsletters:
“In Session” is a quarterly newsletter designed to address legal and risk related issues that are critical to psychiatrists. Each issue also includes Legal Updates so that insureds are aware of recent legislative news and legal exposures that can impact their practice.
In months when no newsletter is sent, insureds are emailed risk management advisories on a single issue. Recent topics include Documentation as Your Best Defense, Professional Boundaries, and What Hat Are You Wearing? Exploring the Many Roles of the Provider.
