1.Who provides the insurance coverage?  American Professional Agency, Inc. is the Program Administrator for the Social Service Agency Professional Liability Insurance program. The program is underwritten by Allied
World Insurance Company.
2. Are directors and officers included?This blanket protection includes employees, directors, trustees,
and executives while acting within the scope of their duties as such.
3. Can Psychiatrists be included in the policy coverage? Employed psychiatrists may be included except in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
4. What does the limit of liability mean? The first limit is the maximum that will be paid for each individual claim. The second limit is the maximum annual amount that will be paid during the policy period.

5. What benefits are contained in the policy?

• $35,000 in defense costs for proceedings coverage which includes licensing board defense coverage with an option to purchase higher limits.
• $25,000 for information privacy coverage which provides defense expenses and damages for federal and state regulators who investigate you for a violation of the privacy protection statutes (HIPAA).
• $15,000 for Emergency Aid expenses reimbursement for medical supplies and up to $100 for lost earnings due to the provision of volunteer emergency treatment.
• 25,000 for Assault or Battery coverage that reimburses you for medical expenses and/or personal property damage caused by a client.
